Disclaimer and affiliate disclosure

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the vendor pays me a commission. The price you pay is the same. This is how the site covers the cost of the hardware it runs on.

Posts that contain affiliate links carry a disclosure line directly under the title, before any link appears. If a post has no disclosure line, it has no affiliate links.

What the money does not buy

No professional advice

Nothing on this site is medical, legal, tax or investment advice. Self-hosting guides are technical documentation of what worked on my hardware; your environment will differ, and versions move. Test destructive commands somewhere disposable before pointing them at data you care about.

No warranty

Commands and configurations are provided as-is. I test them, but I cannot test your setup. If following a guide costs you data or uptime, that is on the change you made, not on this page — take a snapshot first. That advice is the whole reason this site exists.

Prices and versions

Prices, plan names and software versions are correct at the time of writing and are not updated automatically. When a post's pricing or version is more than a few months old, the date at the top of the post reflects it.
